At 20, Anas was given a diplomatic role by the Moroccan government to represent the country at the UN and was a lead co-drafter and signatory of a UN resolution which was passed in 2018.

At 22, he headed the campaign for an electoral municipal candidate in a major Canadian city for a new party.

At 23, he joined SaltPay, 1B.USD funded fintech led by Ali Mazanderani (ex-Actis, who invested in many emerging market fintech unicorns) and Eduardo Pontes (founder of Stone, the largest fintech), where they conducted around 74 M&A transactions with an allocation bracket of apx. 750M USD including the acquisition of Borgun ( third largest bank in Iceland) and Paymentology (a leading issuer in the Middle East). This is where Anas spent 2 years building his operational and analytical capacity when it comes to building and consolidating portfolio through the group M&A activity.

At 24, he was made head of operations and led the opening of operations in Ireland, where his team achieved $1M TPV in 30 days. His team was also in charge of the application for the EMI license of the group and was involved in leading the negotiations with the Irish central bank. He then led the group rebranding and integration of 74 entities across 16 geographies WHILE building a first, albeit failed, VC fund which had raised 2M AuM.

At 25, he bootstrapped Ryad and became head of the largest African tech community in the UK, which is about to scale to the US after he almost singlehandedly launched their automated community platform with no prior coding or product involvement.
